The Museum of Copenhagen reopened in 2020 in Stormgade in a historical building with lovely features. This was once the National Public Trustee’s Office. Space has been created in the building for a dialogue about the past, present and future of Copenhagen. Here are stories about the traces of the first human activities in Copenhagen, as well as about migration, cultural plurality, the 1960s’ youth revolt and sustainable city development. In conjunction with the removal to this site, the museum drew up a new logo- and design guide, which consists, among other things, of modules symbolising the structures within the city, its columns and angles of the roofs of its buildings.

The new design was ideal as the foundation of a basic collection for the shop so that the design could get out and about and become visible in the city picture. As we could make several designs for the packaging of the crayons and felt-tip pens, we also had the opportunity to promote the excellent stained-glass mosaic windows and the collaboration of the museum with the artist HuskMitNavn.
